I was a little bit worried that the show was going to be cancelled, since the rain was poring down just half an hour before the guys were scheduled to enter the stage. But somehow, the clouds just disappeared. It turned out to be a very nice evening.
The gig was great! Luke was in a great mood and was joking all the time (mostly dirty jokes, as usual). Bobby did a good job, but I was more impressed during the reunion tour '99. Although I don't blame him. Touring like this, singing like he does...of course it's hard. And...the man is over fifty years old!
It was also fun to see Jeff Babko on the keyboards, really great. I've seen him during Simon's solo tours, but this was a little bit different, in a positive way.
The only thing I didn't like about the gig, was the strange version of Georgy Porgy. They totally lost the groovy feeling!
